The first batch of the Iranian passenger car Samand to be produced in Venezuela will hit the South American nation's market by November this year, an official with Iran's Ministry of Industries and Mines said.
The contract on the manufacture in Venezuela of the Iranian sedan, Samand, has already been finalized and the first series of the cars will be offered soon, a report quoted Mohsen Shaterzadeh as saying here on Friday. He also commented on the exports to the South American nations of the Iranian farm tractors produced at the Venezuela's assembly lines and said, out of four types of the tractors built in Venezuela only one model is currently exported. He also referred to the opening of Iran's Ministry of Industries and Mines Representative Office in Caracas, Venezuela, and said the office was tasked with directing and coordinating the projects being carried out in the country. The memoranda of understanding agreed upon by the Islamic Republic of Iran and Venezuela currently hit well over 120, the official also announced. منبع: payvand´s Iran News
