The source, quoting Mohsen Shaterzadeh, the Foreign Affairs aide of
the Iranian Minister of Economy and Mining, said both countries have
kicked off enforcement of a number of projects valued at USD 201
million, Efe reported.
The source claimed that such projects include oil, construction and cement production, among other areas.
Shaterzadeh also unveiled Iranian and Venezuelan plans to initial "in the near future" new agreements on gold prospecting, creation of radio stations, TV networks and a joint bank.
Shaterzadeh's announcements came one week after the Iranian-Venezuelan Joint Committee held meetings in Tehran, where Venezuela was represented by an important political and economic delegation.
