The
Celebration of 2009 National Day of the Islamic Republic of Ira, took
place on Tuesday, February 10th, at the Ambassador Mohsen Shaterzadeh
Yazdi official residency. The Ambassador, Mohsen Shaterzadeh Yazdi, and
his spouse, Azam Shaterzadeh Yazdi, offered a reception for
approximately 250 guests. |

The
event was celebrated with the presence of various brazilian and
foreign authorities, among them, there were ambassadors, diplomats,
parlamental representatives, brazilian govermental representatives,
jornalists and professors. |

During the speech giving by the Ambassador
Mohsen Shaterzadeh Yazdi, he spoke greatly of the characteristcs of the
iranian people and the growth diplomatic relation between Iran and
Brazil. The Ambassador Sarkis Karmirian, chief of the middle east
department of the Ministry of International Affairs, also gave a
speech, which focus on a century of diplomatic relationship between both
countries and the intensive business relationship developed among them
with the intent to growth even more in the near future. |

As part of the event, it was offered to all guests Iranian cuisine and several exhibitions of Iranian craft art and music. |

Giving
major importance to the event that celebrates 30 years of Islamic
revolition, that marked a very relevant part of the Iranian History,
which was explicitly distingueshed with the words of the ambassador of
Iran, Mr. Mohsen Shaterzadeh Yazdi, and maintain it as the focus of all
conversations during all the event. |
