$30 bn foreign investment in Iran 2007 / 11 / 14

Industries and Mines Minister says foreign investment in Iran has risen
to $30 billion from April to November 2007.
About 80 percent of the foreign investment has been made in the
industrial and mining sectors, Mohsen Shaterzadeh told Mehr news agency.
The UAE and Germany have made the largest investment in Iran respectively, but Germany has invested in more projects, he added.
Shaterzadeh said that foreign investment in Iran was $10.5 billion
last year, adding that the country is planning to attract more
investment by holding negotiations with several investors in Europe.
